Once Galactic Bidz have tested the product, everything from price to quality, and upon meeting the HOT PRODUCTS standard, the item is then listed with HOT PRODUCTS, a small fee is charged, the item will show under the HOT PRODUCTS section for one month.

This feature is designed for companies wanting to put buyers minds at ease, selling an item with HOT PRODUCTS allows the buyer to see that the product is of quality and reasonably priced, as well as legitimate. We add a sense of security in this world of uncertainty. This also assists sellers with a low number of ratings, as buyers will gain security through the item being listed as a HOT PRODUCT. We recommend this to all new companies wanting to increase their ratings fast. Don’t despair, we are also happy to cater for sellers who are interested in using HOT PRODUCTS, but don’t have a large quantity of the one item, contact us for further details.

Terms:

We require that any item being sent to Galactic Bidz for testing, be the exact item that is being listed, packaged as if you would if sending to a paying customer. Should a buyer be found to be sending an item that does not conform to the standard of the item sent to Galactic Bidz for testing, the buyer may face suspension from Galactic Bidz. Please note that due to the extensive testing, products are non-returnable.

Process for adding HOT PRODUCTS:

Once logged in, list item as normal but in HOT PRODUCTS section, then contact us through the contact us section for details of address to send product and payment details.

(A) To register click on the "register" link found on both the header and footer navigation sections

(Q) How can I list an item?
(A) You must first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your account and click on the "Sell" link. The first thing to do is select a general category for your item, note that you can choose a more specific category further into the listing process. You can then enter in your chosen settings and item description
(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm selling?
(A) You can keep an eye on everything you are selling by visiting your members area and selecting
the "selling" page.
(Q) Can I use HTML when listing an item?
(A) Yes you can, however we recomend you use basic tags as complex HTML descriptions may not display correctly.
1 Can I place a bid on my own item?
You can, but many users do not like sellers bidding on their own items. It means that you are not willing to sell your item at that price, and is not a good indication of a reliable seller.
2 I added a listing, but I don't see it?
Your listing has been added, but sometimes our system is busy and it can take approximately 30 minutes to be updated.
3 Can I add more information to my item after placing it for auction?
Of course! You can add information to your listings by going to the item to add the information to and click on the Seller add to Description icon.
4 Can I add a picture to the item I am selling?

Yes, you can add a picture to your listings by filling out the "Image" field when you fill out your Sell Your item page.

6 What should I do if the high bidder does not want to pay for the item?
If you have contacted the bidder and he has returned an e-mail saying that he is unable to complete the auction. Then you can view your items html in the previous auctions page. Then e-mail the next highest bidder to see if he or she is interested.
7 What if I was the high bidder, but it did not meet the Reserve Price?
It is up to the seller if he or she wants to sell the item at the highest bid since the reserve price was not met.
8 How can I end my auction early?
If no bids have been placed, go to the auction item you wish to end early. On the left hand side is an icon "Seller add to Description" click on icon, enter your User Name and Password. Go to the bottom of the page and click on the "This auction has no bids. You have the option of deleting it if you wish." Click on
the "Delete" button.
(Q) How can I place a bid?
(A) To place a bid on an item you must first login to your account. Once logged in a bidding box will be displayed at bottom of all auction pages. You can use
this box to place you chosen bid

1 How do I know I won?
Our system automatically sends the buyer and seller an e-mail when the auction ends. The buyer and seller then are responsible for making their own arrangements to conclude the deal. This auction merely offers a venue for buying and selling. We will not, nor cannot, be held responsible for lack of performance by any and all parties. We simply provide a place that allows people to buy and sell. However, do let us know of any problems. We can and
will banish anyone who abuses this auction.
2 What if I bid and the screen saying that it is under the minimum bid?
This means that your bid is below the minimum price the seller is asking for. Just place a bid higher than his starting minimum price.
3 I bid on an item, but it says that I have been outbid?
This means that your bid is lower than another users bid. The higher bid will be accepted until another bid is higher. Usually the other bidder has placed a Proxy Bid.
4 Can I retract my bid once I have confirmed it?
Yes, if there is a legitimate reason. Visit our Retract Your Bidarea an explanation is required. Fill out the form and submit your request. The bid may be placed back on the item by Auction Administrator if we feel that the explanation was not legitimate.
5 I've made a bid on a item, but it has not appeared in the listing.
The reason could be that your web browser might have cached that page. Which means that it has the page in a cache directory on your computer. Simply click the reload button for your browser.
6 What if I am the high bidder, but I haven't heard from the seller?
Usually there is a 3 day time period in which the seller and buyer must be contacted. But if for some reason, the seller does not reply to your e-mail, then you can give them a call. If that doesn't work then we sincerely regret that the auction could not be completed. Then the worst case scenario is to leave the
seller a bad comment in the Feedback area.
1 Can I register if I am outside your Country?
Of course, but some users might not want to send or buy something from another country. All listings on Galactic Bidz are individuals, and they have the
right to accept or reject a foreign bid. Don't be discouraged, many users will just charge extra for shipping. You can also e-mail the seller before you bid, to see if he or she is willing to ship to your location and if they accept an international payment.
2 I've registered but I haven't received a confirmation e-mail?
Several reasons are possible. You might have entered a invalid e-mail, your ISP might be slow or at its peak time, or our server might be still processing your information. Please be patient, if no confirmation e-mail is received in 24 hours,
3 Why are some listings bold and others are in the featured auction section?
These are add-on features that can also be added to your listing for a certain fee. It is well worth the extra cost to increase your items exposure and to get more people looking at your listing. These features can be added at the time you place you item up for bid.
4 Why doesn't my password work?
You might have mistakenly entered your password wrong or you might have your Caps Lock on (Capital Letters). Our system uses a case-sensitive password system.
5 I've forgotten my password. What should I do?
Go to login and request new password. Our system will e-mail your password to the e-mail address we have

(Q) How do I use the Bulk Uploader?
To use the bulk lister first click on the icon.

If this is your first time setup your user details, to do this go to "Options" and click "Setup my details".
Enter your user details and click "check login" if login is ok click "apply". It won't look like it did anything (but it did), then click the"close" button.

If this is not you first time, then once you load the program you are all set. At the top you should see two tabs one says "internet" the other says "bulk lists". Click the "bulk lists" icon and type in what you want the session to be called. Then click the add button at the top.
Follow the direction given to setup the auction.
Add as many as you want.
But don't forget to save.
